Sista Otis is headed to Hollywood with a suitcase full of songs, a new LP in the can featuring Philip Fisher, Justin Timberlake, Christina Agularia, Angelo Moore (Fishbone), Joey (Blind Boys Of Alabama), John McKnight, Ben Harper, and the love of a fan base that stretches around the world! As an added bonus, on board is the former PR Rep for the Playboy Mansion.

We had an amazing time! Singer Songwriter Sista Otis is known as The Original Good Time Girl. Her Gospel of Rock -N- Roll Show  consists of original music which she writes and performs while touring across the United States of America.

Sista Otis was born with music engrained into her entire existence. Her love and caring for Mother Earth and all that co-exists upon it exudes from her pours. She made the conscious decision to not die with her music inside of her.   In 1999 she set out on her own to follow her dream to share her own original distinctive sound, love and empower people everywhere.

As Karma goes she has received the complete support of her family, friends, fans and the finest musicians world wide who have experienced her love light if only through the power of technology.  She has been named as musical influence and inspiration by the likes of Gabbie Rae, Crystal Bowersox and many others.

Along the road she wrote and recorded a demo titled “Charmed”.  This demo is only one of many of her own original masterpieces which she will take into the studio and mix into an entire album titled “Charmed” in between her Tour of Love schedule.

Sista Otis Returns To Plymouth MI To Join  David Winans II, of the Legendary Winans Gospel Family And Help Empower The Community To Take The First Step To Stop Domestic Violence With The Gospel of Rock N Roll

On September 2, 2011 Singer, Songwriter and Guitar Player Sista Otis will take the stage at Roc Bar (Plymouth Roc); accompanied by David Winans II – Legendary Lead Singer, Bass Player, Keyboard Player, Guitar Player and Songwriter for PI, as they reach out to the community, spread some love and help end violence.

Sista Otis has been moved to tour around the country, sharing the Gospel of Rock N Roll, love and empowerment to the people. “If u think the government sucks why would the answer be bigger government?” Shouted Sista Otis. “WE ARE THE PEOPLE, if you don’t like the way things are, don’t wait for legislation, roll up your sleeves and get to work!” She continued with an inviting smile on her face.

On May 7th 2011 Sista Otis opened for Crystal Bowersox at the 2011 Green Street Fair to help empower people, of all ages, with knowledge about the benefits of green, organic, and Eco-friendly products and services.

On August 13th, 2011 Sista Otis’s Gospel of Rock N Roll Show rocked Jackson’s Inlet Bar & Grill in Murrels Inlet, South Carolina. Teaming up with WMBF News, Doctors Care, Solid Waste Authority and McDonald’s, of Horry County, to encourage the community to take part in the Pack–A–Backpack program and empower area school children the tools needed to learn.

This time Sista Otis has partnered up with First Step of Plymouth Michigan to help put an end to domestic violence and aid survivors with transition services into a more loving and copacetic environment. The mission of First Step is to reduce the incidence of domestic and sexual violence and to provide services to individuals affected by these crimes. Prevention of domestic and sexual violence through education, advocacy and appropriate intervention is the ultimate goal of First Step.

First Step of Plymouth Michigan recently build a new housing facility. Construction has been halted with additional structures; such as a storage building, garage and even a pet kennel needed to enable more complete assistance for survivors of Domestic and Sexual Abuse. There are many items required to help survivors transition. Too often survivors arrive to the program with nothing more than the clothes on their back.

On September 2nd a representative of First Step will be at Roc Bar (Plymouth Roc) to empower you with more information about their program and services and Collect Needed Items from the list below:
