A song writer’s song writer and a performer-extraordinaire. The grit of her sound comes from her blue collar Motown roots, Detroit Rock ‘N Roll, the Memphis’s sounds on Sun Records which lead her to the sounds of the south. With her ear to the speaker and her eyes on the page she listened to the voices that spoke to her and they told her the only life worth writing about is one lived out on the tight rope of your passions.

She followed in the foot steps of her literary and musical heroes hitting the road with nothing but a back pack, a few bucks, and a six string. She began crisscrossing and couch surfing her way from coast to coast singin’ for her supper on the side walks of America financing her tuition for The School Of Rock ‘N Roll Hard Knocks playing street music. She had to learn how to put on a show that would make people want to stop out on the side walk and put money in her hat. That then domino-ed into open mic’s, then into gigs and now Sista Otis is a national touring artist with international recognition.

This is the makings of the artist we know today with the stage presence of a Rock ‘n Roll Tina Turner meets the American songwriter. Song structures originally crafted on the concrete, pulling from American roots music, referencing classic sounds and tones making them modern pop classics. Gospel Of Rock ‘N Roll is in full effect when Otis is in the building, up on the stage and out on the wire.

Sista Otis has found herself on a journey through her “Tour Of Love” to spread the love and empowerment with the people of the world using the Gospel of Rock -N- Roll fashioned with her own Original Music, written and sung by her. On Her “Tour Of Love” Sista Otis will join forces with the community to enable us to reach out to the masses and help our own family, friends and neighbors.

“If u think the government sucks why would the answer be bigger government?” Shouted Sista Otis. “WE ARE THE PEOPLE, if you don’t like the way things are, don’t wait for legislation, roll up your sleeves and get to work!” She continued with an inviting smile on her face.
